Newly renovated and opened in December 2017, Megève’s Le Palais is all at once a :

Espace Forme (fitness centre)
Here, there are plenty of activities and classes to choose from, as well as a fully-equipped gym: yoga, pilates, circuit training, cross training . . .

Espace Aquatique (Indoor & Oudoor Swimming Pools & Slides)
With both 💦 indoor and outdoor pools, the re-styled 💦 Espace Aquatique has something for the whole family!
💦 indoor pools – there is one pool for swimming (25m x 12.5m), another for children, Aquagym and Aquabike sessions (0.60m x 1,35m), and a baby paddling pool (with slides, water features and warm water, LOVELY!);
🐬 « aquakids » classes – for babies 6+months to 3 years / Sundays from 9h to 10h (check schedule) / at the Balnéoforme (warm water!) / 15€ per session;
« aquadécouverte » classes – for children 3 to 4 years / Wednesdays 10h to 10h30 (check schedule) / at the swimming pool (learner pool) / 15€ per session;
💦 outdoor pools – these are open from June until September . . . there is an Olympic pool (50 x 21m), and two children’s paddling pools, one with animal & water features / for rent are ☂️ parasols and lounge chairs;
💦 pentagliss – 3 adjacent outdoor slides / for 6+ years;
REMEMBER that boys and men must wear a slip; if you arrive with shorts, you will be asked to buy a slip!

Espace Balnéoforme (spa & wellness)
While the rest of the family is in the pool or ice-skating, or off hiking or on the ⛷ pistes skiing, why not treat yourself to some pampering in the newly renovated 💦 Espace Balnéoforme? You will find water heated to 34 degrees, a wave pool, indoor saunas and hammams and outdoor saunas!
💵 prices: adults: 34€ / children: 14€ (under 5s only permitted between 10h and 12h!) / « Family Balnéo » on Sundays 10h to 12h: adults 22€ and children 8€ (free for under 5s);
Espace Glace (ice-skating & ice-hockey)
With its musical setting, the ⛸ indoor Olympic ice-skating rink at the Le Palais is for everyone, beginners and advanced skaters alike. The rink sometimes transforms into a huge show / ice-hockey match venue, hosting up to 5000 people. Since the renovations, the acoustics and lighting have been improved and there is heating and renovated changing rooms. Skate rental is available and figure skating and curling and ice-hockey lessons can be booked.
During the school holidays, there will often be themed skating events (Halloween, Valentine’s Day specials), including the Jardin de la Glisse for little ones and disco nights (soirées givrées) / there are also Eisstock sessions for the whole family during the holidays!

Espace Raquettes (tennis and ping-pong)
No, not snow-shoeing in the Palais! We’re talking about 🎾 tennis & 🏓 ping-pong raquets!
Tennis
There is one 🎾 indoor tennis court and 10 outdoor asphalt courts and 2 clay courts (for use in summer). There is also a training wall available on request. Court rental is by the hour or with abonnements.

🎾 tennis lessons: are available from qualified teachers, either to learn from scratch or to improve tennis skills / there are also stages available during the school holidays;

Ping Pong
With a view of the ice-skating rink, this is a 🏓 ping-pong area with a view!

Espace Escalade (climbing)
There are 740m² of 🧗♀️ indoor climbing routes available on this newly renovated climbing wall, with routes for Beginners up to Advanced! Equipment can be hired and lessons are available. During the school holidays, there are various stages and baby climbing . . .

There is also a gymnasium on-site, used for a multitude of different activities and sports: handball, basketball, football, tennis, badminton, acrobatics . . . It can also be transformed into a reception area for events hosting up to 1000 people: meetings, spectacles, fairs, sales;
Espace Base de Loisirs
Le Palais also incorporates a nearby outdoor espace base de loisirs with: mini-golf, pumptrack, tennis courts . . .
Médiathèque
There is both a children’s section (see here for more details) and adult’s section in the médiathèque and plenty of story-telling sessions . . .

On some Wednesdays at 11h is 📚 L’Heure du Conte (storytime for children), for children 3+ years / FREE and no reservations needed / there is also an Heure du Conte pour les bébes lecteurs on selected Saturday mornings (see Megève Agenda) at 11h;
Kids Club – l’Univers Billy Bosteu
Fairly new to Le Palais, is the Kids Club, a play are for children 3 to 9 years. Billy Bosteu is Megève’s mascot, and this is the central theme to this espace loisirs. The centre caters for 30 children, with the price starting at 9.50€ for one hour.
Espace Seminaire (Conference Centre)
There are four new, fully equipped rooms for hire here, including an 🎥 events room with seating for 800 people . . . Many 🎭 spectacles are scheduled here throughout the year.
Espace Restaurant – Le Sports Bar
Le Palais is equipped with a 🥤 restaurant / snack bar during the winter season which, in the summer months, opens up into a restaurant with a terrace, next to the Olympic swimming pool / tel: +33 7 68 98 25 61;
Workshops, stages, classes & events for children, teenagers and adults
Throughout the year, and especially during the school holidays, there are plenty of 🎨 🧗♂️ sports and creative activities, courses and workshops (week long, or daily) held at Le Palais.
