Megève Médiathèque

Megève’s Médiathèque is found within the Palais des Sports et des Congrès.  It comprises:

L’Espace Jeunesse (Children’s Section)

Located up on the first floor, this is a great place for children (from babies to teenagers) to enjoy: books, comic strips and mangas, documentaries, CDs, DVDs and CD-ROMs.  There is also a collection of foreign language titles.

There is comfortable furniture in the area dedicated to babies and small children.

Ludothèque Jeunesse (Children’s Games)

There are more than 120 games (the classics and the contemporary) to enjoy here for children from the age of 2 up to 12.  The games can be played on site or rented out (members – maximum two per card, as well as 6 books).

Espace Adulte (Adult Section)

Located on the 3rd floor of the Médiatèque, the Adult Section of the library comprises: novels, documentaries, comic strips, CDs, DVDs and CD-ROMs.  Newspapers and magazines are available to read on-site on the 1st floor.

Storytelling / L’Heure du Conte

Throughout the year in the Espace Jeunesse, there is «L’Heure du Conte» (storytelling) at the Médiathèque, on Wednesdays at 17h, for children 3+ years (with accompanying adult) / FREE! / no reservations needed . . . and on some Saturdays at 10h30, there is also a «L’Heure du Conte bébés lecteurs» for 0 to 3 year olds (see Megève Agenda for current schedule / more information: 04 50 91 57 70 or;
