Chamonix Valley Spas & Massages

Several hotels in the Chamonix Valley offer access to their spa centre and pool to non-hotel guests.

This post is not a full list of tried and tested spas and massages; I have clearly not done enough of my own “parent pampering” in the last six years!  In fact, the only spa I have managed to visit has been Deep Nature’s Les Granges d’en Haut in Les Houches.  I have had two wonderful massages there and I really enjoyed the spa area; there is lots to choose from in a small area (pool, jacuzzi, hammam, Finnish sauna, Nordic bath, relaxation area) and I found the location to be very relaxing and the views are simply stunning.

In addition to this list below, many of the privately-run chalets can organise a masseur/masseuse to come to you.

  1. Do you know of any hotels in Chamonix with 25meter pools?

Is the public pool there clean, bright and nice for lap swimming?

    Thank you

    1. Hello JP, I’m afraid that I don’t know the answer to that, but I would think not, as 25m is big! The public pool in Chamonix I have always found to be clean and the light shines through brightly for lap swimming (with a view of Mont-Blanc!). See here for more details:

There are also public pools, newly renovated, nearby in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains and Megève.
