AUTUMN ACTIVITIES au Pays du Mont-Blanc (and beyond)

🍁 AUTUMN is my favourite time of year . . . all of a sudden, one notices that there are some 🍁 shades of orange, brown and gold on the otherwise green palette of trees . . . the odd brown leaf falls to the ground, and soon there is a crunchy carpet underfoot . . . autumn is the perfect season to explore our wondrous nature, the woods and forests, the lakes and mountains 🏔 au Pays du Mont-Blanc, to go 🍏apple picking . . . Many of the parks are still open, before they perhaps get a dusting of snow and go into winter hibernation! And autumn is ALSO the 🐑 foires agricoles of our region, the Toussaint school holidays and 🎃 Halloween too . . . And then, suddenly, all attention turns to ❄️ SNOW forecasts and the opening of our ski lifts, there are several ⛷ bourses de ski, and then we are thinking of the 🎄Christmas holidays!

But for now, autumn is 📚 La Rentrée: a new rhythm after the summer, the start of shorter days, the ⚽️ Fêtes du Sport and portes ouvertes for various clubs and associations . . .

📚 Bonne Rentrée ! 📚
