🇨🇭🐻 New exhibition at the Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle (Geneva) – from 13th April 2019 until 19th January 2020 🐻🇨🇭
Each year there is a BIG temporary exhibition at this fabulous museum, the two last ones being Dinosaures and Fourmis . . . this new exhibition will plunge you into the world of PREDATORY ANIMALS: « Prédations » – animals whose strategy it is to kill to eat! Kill, eat, survive – a natural cycle, present since the birth of time, far from the image of Big Bad Wolf and Jaws. The life of a predator is often difficult and dangerous, a ” catch me if you can ! ” challenge with its prey! And we humans in this chain; are we the worst type of predator, seeing as we are omnivores and meat eating is a choice? / more information . . . / MBFF article about this museum;

Fine weather and 🌷 springtime buds a-blossoming . . . the perfect time to visit a park, garden, arboretum or castle grounds . . . to look forward to: first blossoms, magnolia trees and chataignes blossoms, irises and day lilies (further afield), rhododendrons . . .

And 🇫🇷 Haute-Savoie has a total of 🏔 9 réserves naturelles, and there are plenty of family animations offered by Asters and FRAPNA all year round: programme 2019 LPO Haute Savoie or Rendez-Vous Gratuits avec la nature;
As the snow melts, our options for family hikes (without snow shoes!) increase . . . in early spring, high altitude hikes will still have lots of snow cover, but there are still lots of lovely low-altitude walks to enjoy en famille / here are just a few suggestions for buggy-friendly, draisienne-friendly family strolls . . .
